A native of Texas where she
matriculated at the University of Texas, Mrs.
Borrmann has always been actively involved in the
Company so that when George Borrmann died in 1973,
the Company was able to continue uninterrupted
operation under her leadership. As a result, with
her guidance, the company has been able to sustain
its record of growth and achievement and of
providing superior service to its
customers. Mrs. Borrmann has represented the
U.S. Steel industry at various national and
international functions such as the Belgian World
Steel Service Center Convention. Always active
in cultural, civic and charitable endeavors, Mrs.
Borrmann has served as chapter president of the
Navy League of the United States, and is a life
member of "Las Carina", the support group for Los
Angeles Retarded Children's Foundation. Her other
charitable activities include : Life member of the
Mary and Joseph League. Commander in the Knights
of St. Lazarus and member of "The Muses", the
support group of the Los Angeles Museum of Science
and Industry. Today the Borrmann Steel Company
remains a model for steel service centers. As they
have throughout its history, watchwords of the
Company continue to be : Quality, Integrity,
and Service. |
